I recently ran into someone whose byline stated he was a lover of grammer—spelled g-r-a-m-m-e-r, properly-hyphenated words—he used a hyphen after an ly word, which is a violation of correct style—and the Oxford comma, where he neglected to use an Oxford comma on his list of three things.
My eyes snagged on the obvious misspelling and I decided to reach out privately to let the person know his byline had a misspelling.
He promptly replied that I should look more closely at his byline and that he hoped I’d catch the humor. I felt duped, stupid, and alienated.

*My recent episode featured a technical error that resulted in Christopher Tallon's contact information being muddled with the closing credits. So I wanted to give another shout out to him and his work. Preorder his book, Switchers. Follow him on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Goodreads. Check out his blog. It's all the good stuff.
As before, Michelle Redo notified me of my technical error, and if you want to hear a true audio master with a voice perfect for audio, listen to Daring To Tell, her podcasts interviewing writers of all kinds.
