Saw this campaign on Kickstarter for an audio book. Seems to be doing well. Check out the various tiers and the things he's offering, such as "Name a Character," "Meet the author," etc.

You know I'll be there on this Kickstarter. I think I do most of my reading via Audibooks these days, I try to spend as much of my free time writing as I can, but when I'm taking the dog for a walk, running or driving somewhere, I'm "reading" an audiobook. So I'm truly excited to be able to lock in a deal like this.

I think what you should consider, is different tiers. For example, the first 3 books for $24. 6 books for $42. And all 9 books for $60. That way, you have a low end tier that is an awesome deal on it's own, but people who can afford to put more money up front can invest in your future with a great reward.

Also consider tiers where you give a copy of the ebook as well for an addition $2 or 3 per book. And then a "Collector's" tier where you charge $250 and the funder gets all 9 audio, ebooks and signed copies of the paperbacks.

Have you considered stretch goals?

For example, if you reach a certain level, throw in some short stories read by the author? (Yes, I'm challenging you to read your own works, too!)

Or, if X.E. will sit down with you for an interview, maybe make that bonus TRBM content only available to Kickstarter funders.

Let's go! Where's the link?

Might be a good idea to shoot for a lower amount at first, and then use the stretch goals to incentivize readers. That way you'll have as successful campaign, and can do future one to publish hardback editions, or gilded boxed sets to pick up the rest as you go.

Also, maybe simultaneously do an IndieGoGo to expand your reach.

(can you tell I used to be a Kickstarter addict?)
