First thing I learned today on TRBM You need a master degree to be a librarian. Second thing I learned today on TRBM, Jody had to wear a tie to sell insurance. I just can’t picture that look.

I bought access to fonts for my saga. Initially, I'd intended to use it for the cover - and still love it. But what I ended up doing is using it for the half title page, the saga logo, and marketing swag. I thought it was interesting that you mentioned. I have, at least, 2000 fonts (currently) and am buying two more today. One never knows, right? I have the Mission Impossible font series, the Fast and the Furious, and a ton of serif and sans serif variations. I'm sort of addicted, and I'm not shy to pay for them if necessary.

As for typos, gosh, I hope we're all using Read Aloud or something similar before moving into the pre-publication formatting process. That's the last thing I do. And I really hope that eliminated all of them. Or at least most of them. Now I'm paranoid again. Thanks, Jody! (LOL)

I'm really nervous about approaching libraries, to be honest. I'm an odd duck. I can come up with taglines and the like. I'm marginally okay with back-of-the-book blurbs. But synopses and queries? I'm a babbling idiot. I'm the type that desperately searches for "samples" of successful examples of queries and approach letters. I'm happy to customize - I don't steal. But it does feel like I need to "see" something as an example, first. Generating that by myself? FROZEN.

As for the libraries ... that one thing I forwarded to you from Bowker is still looking like something I maybe should have done.

Finances? Well, I can say proudly that a month ago, I was $40K in debt. My husband makes a good living, but our margins were extremely narrow. Not a great amount of disposable income after bills. And as I contemplated AMMO, I was very, very stressed out. HOWEVER, when I went to my supportive husband and we discussed, we decided to refinance the house. And - he did it. Today, I am debt free and have a sizable amount of money to put into marketing my work. I'm serious about what I do. And I only share this for those who feel there's no way. Now, my way might not be anyone else's way. But ya know? We need to do SOMETHING...because what's happening now isn't working. So, sorry for the personal info dump, but I'm here to testify that you (Jody) are correct. A business takes capital. One way or another, we need to find ways to make that happen.

I look forward to discussing this more with you, Jody. I actually found a couple of things that I want to run by you related to Shopify and Unbounce.

After I'm feeling better (I'm still miserable), I'm diving into AMMO. I've ordered some inventory of the two current books and will get it for book 3 after it publishes at the end of this week.

Sorry so long, and personal. Hopefully, someone else in a similar situation can get something from my showing my proverbial a$$ to the world.
