It is good advice. There's not a person on the planet who isn't lost in their life at some point...and more probably multiple points. And yes, I do believe the key is not giving up. For my own self, I've come up against the wall, on all kinds of fronts and I've had things change when I step back and acknowledge stuff isn't working and just kind of saying, "Okay, this isn't working. What's the next step or new avenue to go down?" And then walk away. Let it sit for a few days, get involved in the day to day and I don't know how many times, suddenly a new path pops or some new option presents itself. I think it's more a matter of letting go your old methods and ideas and allowing yourself to "see" something you've ignored before, but it's works. Doesn't magically happen in the next fifteen minutes, but . . .

Just know that you and your podcast continue to inspire me and push myself to climb to that next rung on the ladder. I appreciate you. And even when you fall or don't achieve what you hope, you create lessons for the rest of us and show us new things. Keep the faith and keep up the great work you do.

I usually like to comment with something grander than "good show" or "hey, I loved this." But this is so raw and personal - and hit me as such - that I find myself lacking the words to do a proper review.

I guess I will just say that I appreciate your being so raw with your audience. That personal touch is a sign of strength, and trust in your core listenership. I'll refrain from glib overtures of support. Instead, I'll address you as a contemporary and say, simply, "Keep writing. Keep moving forward. You know this. You'll do it. And we'll all be here with you along the journey."

Yeah, am about to embark on the ad thing myself and see what I can do too. Unfortunately I have a feeling it is going to be one of those hit and miss things and without really shoving a lot of money into it to test every possibility it's going to be like looking for something in the dark. Still, nothing ventured....

Hang in there! I will share if I have any successes!
