What energy in this episode! LOL

I love that.

This is a great episode and one I'll have to revisit when I get my audiobooks done. I'm so close to just "doing what's necessary" to get the audiobooks - but then I think about my publishing contract and I feel like I want to wait. Maybe I should get them done and then hold onto them.

But this is fantastic info, Jody. Thank you so much for all this info.

Glad you liked it. I admit, I'll be thrilled when your books are made into audio. They'll adapt so well!

Thanks once again for the shoutout for Bedtime Stories for Insomniacs.

BTW, if you see this on Monday, July 31st, it's not too late to vote for me at https://PodcastAwards.com under the fiction category.

I know a lot of authors are reluctant to read their own audiobooks, but it's worth giving it a try. At the very least, going through the process when your manuscript is complete is a fantastic way to do a final proof. No matter how much time you've spent perfecting your book, once you read it out loud, record it, and play it back, you'll find those misspellings and missing or extra words that every editor, beta reader and proofreader missed.

You know I've already voted for you, and so has Luke E. Mia (at) gmail.com and so has my wife and so have three of my in-laws. We believe in you, my man! Win, win, win, and when you top the mountain, remember us little guys!
