The disease begins with purple striations at the toes. If you have the disease, you'll be gruesomely dead in 72 hours unless… unless what? How can you prevent a nasty death?

@jodyjsperling There is a cave atop a 12,000 foot mountain where volcanic waters make a special ecosystem possible. A rare species of plant that has a symbiotic relationship with a bacterium in said cave contains the cure. It requires a flight to Costa Rica and spelunking into a dark tunnel
