FYI - "The Philosopher's Stone" is the UK version of J.K. Rowling's first Harry Potter book, I believe.
As for the reading, I actually liked it a lot. If Luke weren't a female, you could probably do the audiobooks yourself (a touch slower in pace, I'd say). And you're right about the dialogue tags. In reading the story, I never noticed or needed them - which is interesting. For the most part, I like well-placed dialogue tags and feel they're part of the rhythm of the piece. In reading your stuff, I didn't feel there was any absence with their omission. But yes, in hearing it, without even a subtle voice distinction between Luke and Suzie (and Sandra), it had the potential to be a tad confusing.
But overall, I thought it was very good. Very good. Well done.
If I can figure out how to do just a little bit of inflection in my dialogue, that will be a good way to go. Thanks, as always, for the kind words, Heather.

Practice. You'd be surprised how many different voices you can do with simple changes in pitch, speed, cadence and attitude.
Honestly, it was great, though. You have a good public voice.
Yes, shame on you Jody for not knowing "The Philosopher's Stone"! Someone needs to pull your J.K. Rowling card.
I'm rightly ashamed!
I'm starting to detect a little Dirk Gently in Luke... I like it.
You know, that's ironic. I even have a mention of Schrödinger's cat later in the book…
Fun, fun, fun ... and a cat's eye is so much cuter than a bull's eye. Love it.
