Well that was depressing. LOL

But hey - do the book fair tour! I think that's the best advice your "guest" gave. So many are already doing so much of what the AI guest suggested, maybe the BOOK FAIR idea will gain some traction.

I agree that it was depressing, and in a strange way, it reinforced my belief—probably an unfounded conspiracy—that a certain kind of success is only attainable if you happen to impress the right gatekeeper. It's a consideration I chew on frequently, these days.

Head to the grindstone, Sperling. Get me book two, put your blinders on, and plow forward. We're in this for the long haul. Don't make me drag you along with me. LOL

I'm grinding, O'Brien. You'll have a damn fine (though maybe in need of some cutting and reworking) draft in your inbox by Friday.

Thought the idea of creating a digital boxed set was interesting. Might be an interesting promotional vehicle for the book tour. Each author contributes a novel to the boxed set, sell it for 99 cents, include ads for the book tour...?

Yes! I actually want to do that for Facebook ads too. Get 3 or 4 people who are willing to contribute 2 books to a doorbuster deal and run ads for ebooks.

Because you could get 6 to 8 books in the boxed set, you could charge around 29 bucks and I think make good money.
