Audiobooks, libraries, voracious reader, AMMO/marketing, family, podcasts...and "studying" Spanish.

I'm starting to wonder if YOU'RE *AI*. You seem to have boundless energy, Jody.

Puts me to shame. I work all day and don't seem to be getting anything done (or not much by comparison). Good on you.

You're like the irresistible force bulleting toward an immovable object (in this case, success). You have no other end than the success you seek. You put way too much into it. You're unstoppable, and inevitable. But remember: it can take many years to become an "overnight success." I truly believe you're destined for it.

And I hate that my books are probably too long to consider audio at this time. It's going to cost a MINT.

You must have sensed in something I said, or maybe when we last spoke that I feel weighed down at the moment. My success feels anything but inevitable. But I will tell you, even when quitting appeals, I can't stop moving forward.

I also believe the same about you. Your saga is going to wind up bookshops all around the world because it's great. That's simply the truth.

As for the audiobooks, you can (or I guess your publisher could) submit a proposal on Findaway Voices, and a narrator could choose to pick it up and collaborate. There are plans where the narrator accepts a percentage of the profits rather than charging up front.

Well, we know about the issue there, as far as audiobooks. I'm thinking that may take a bit.

But I don't think you feel weighed down. I'm in awe of your energy. But I think your success is inevitable. How many people fail just because they quit, you know? And you don't. Ever. That built up momentum (the irresistible force) is going to slam straight into that immovable object (success) at some point. And from there, it's going to be "phewwww!"
