Great info on Twitter/Libraries. Folks may not realize how much work it is to garner a big following and to utilize that to help with this. It makes sense, though, because a lot of folks claim to want to read but they also say they're broke. Libraries are a perfect marriage for that.
There are so many readers who want our books, and some of them can't afford to buy those books. Others fear poverty and refuse to spend on entertainment. Still others believe that books are not worth money, yet they still love reading. Whoever they are, I want to have my books available for them to read, because these stories are on fire!
I'll have to put an asterisk next to my post, "You Can't Sell Books on Twitter"!
By the way, loved the ad in the middle of the episode! I'm going to produce (hopefully) a few for my upcoming anthology of Bedtime Stories. You remember those ad scripts I sent you a while back with the Sandman and Tooth Fairy? We should do an ad swap!
I walk by my local library every day. Need to walk in and see if my card is still valid. Haven't used it since high school. Once I got into the habit of buying books, I pretty much started populating my own library. Now, most of it is electronic. Miss having a wall of books. They're all in boxes now, but someday, I'm going to build myself a wood-paneled library with 12-foot ceilings and those ladders that run along the shelves on wheels.
Thanks as always for the shoutout, even if you don't get the name exactly right on the first try!
What about school libraries? Your old university? Local colleges?
So darn grateful for Monday episodes! Yay!!!

Yes to all of this. And the ad swap as well.
I do still have shelves of books everywhere. I love being surrounded by books. It soothes and invigorates me at the same time.
