Thick Skin Is Holding You Back

You may have believed that shrugging off rejection makes you stronger, but that’s akin to thinking a a nerve blocker heals a third-degree burn, and you’re going to have a pretty cruel summer, if you think that. Pain is a signal to teach and inform. Getting better at resisting pain helps no one.

Don’t calm down. Instead, keep you skin thin, feel the pain, feel the rejection and recognize that you are abundant. Any resistance to feeling the feelings of rejection will feel just like pouring a cold glass of water on your future.
